Explore the beautiful South Lake District while staying in our comfortable, quiet and cosy Bunk Barn, in Witherslack, nestled under Whitbarrow Scar on several national cycle routes. You’ll enjoy nature at its best, dark night skies, birdsong and wildlife.
We purpose-designed and built it ourselves, in our beautiful vernacular barn, to suit outdoor lovers who want a comfortable cosy base to come back to after being out and about all day. Each room has its own en-suite with a hot shower, and a loo; not to mention comfy beds and peace and quiet.
There’s a bright, modern and warm communal space, with full kitchen and cooking facilities, a wood-burning stove and a large dining table.
Free tea and coffee on the house. We offer a BBQ bench, firepit and outside picnic tables for that early morning coffee, or evening beer whilst stargazing.
