The Inn With The Well gets its name from the original well, set in the restaurants' floor. Bulletproof glass has been used to provide a safe cover for the well, allowing you to stand on top and look down the 30 yards shaft of this impressive original feature. Guests can enjoy a range of beers and real cask ales, along with hearty, home-cooked food.
Originally established in 1647, this traditional coaching inn is situated on the Ridgeway path, Europe’s oldest highway.
