The cycle friendly Glen y Wern. Glan y Wern is a beautifully renovated cottage set in the foothills of the Berwyn Range. Located in the small village of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog – one of North Wales best-kept secrets. We are just over the hill from Llangollen in the Ceiriog Valley.
There are lots of fantastic walks, cycling, mountain biking, outdoor activities and places to visit close by. Within a two minute stroll are two award-winning inns both serving fantastic food.
Glan y Wern is a spacious self-catering holiday cottage in North Wales. We have two bedrooms (one en suite) sleeping a total of 4 people, a comfortable lounge with a log burner, a well-equipped kitchen diner, an enclosed garden and a sunny patio with a barbecue that overlooks open fields.

If on-road cycling is your thing, you have access to miles of beautiful quiet roads to choose from. Glen y Wern will be able to share links to maps of some of our recommended cycling routes in the area.
The owners are mountain bikers and have made their holiday cottage bike and cycle-friendly. They have secure bike storage, a hose to wash down muddy bikes and a drying room for wet clothes. There are also OS maps covering North Wales if you want to plan your own route.
