Description
The cycle friendly Belvue Guesthouse on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne in Northumberland. Our accommodation is ‘on island’ meaning that when the day visitors are forced to depart (because of the tide), you can stay and enjoy an entirely different side to Holy Island – stunningly tranquil with wonderful walks and deserted beaches. Lindisfarne castle rests majestically atop its volcanic plug, looming over the harbour.
All rooms at the Belvue Guesthouse come with extra comfy mattresses, quality linen, free Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, Tea & Coffee making facilities, USB charging sockets are en-suite with underfloor heating, a rainfall shower, fluffy towels, luxury toiletries and a hairdryer.
Our luxury studios also offer a dining table, stylish kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave and toaster, cutlery and crockery, artisan coffee, iron and board, in-room safe and a two-seater sofa (Reiver Studio only).
Breakfast is not included in any of our rooms (the studios are self-catering, and the ‘no frills’ room is, well… no-frills), but village cafés are only 2-3 minutes walk from the property, as are the local pubs, which offer excellent meals (booking recommended).

When you check in, in addition to your room key, you will receive a key to the Asgard storage facility, just outside our front door. This will give you access to your bike whenever you need it, and you can just drop the key into our check-out box upon departure. Even with our contact-free check-in, this works well.
Cycles are stored at their owner’s risk, but they think it’s probably the most secure dedicated facility on the island.
